Minnesota Vikings Week 1 Recap

Vikings Week 1 Recap

To put it simply, the Minnesota Vikings played excellent on Sunday. Winning 28-12 against the Atlanta Falcons.

In 2018 Free Safety Anthony Harris had three interceptions. Today he had two. The defense for the Vikings has been stellar as always with four sacks, two interceptions and one fumble recovery.

Offense was another thing of beauty with 111 yards and two touchdowns for Dalvin Cook, a rushing touchdown for QB Kirk Cousins and receiving touchdown for Adam Theilen.

I gathered two things from today’s game. The offensive line while not able to really give Cousins a pocket looked much better than in previous years. And our defensive abilities have only gotten better with the offseason. This looks like the start of something big in Minnesota and time will tell where this team is headed in 2019.
