Daniel Jones Fantasy Value

Daniel Jones Fantasy Value

Daniel Jones came out for the New York Giants and won a game nobody thought he would. He came out and won the game with out Golden Tate, and Saquon Barkley, who was injured in in Sunday’s game with a right ankle injury. We do not know the severity of the injury just yet, Saquon says he won’t be out long, but he is undergoing an MRI today.

Had Eli Manning been the quarterback, and he lost Saquon like Jones did he probably would’ve been even worse than we have seen thus far. Instead, what did Jones do? He came back in the 4th quarter and won the game.

Jones had an impressive showing completing 23-of-36 passes for 336 yards and 2 passing touchdowns, plus 2 rushing touchdowns. He was able to open the offense and he made some throws that only his receiver could catch. Plain and simple, he deserves the credit for this win.

However, what does this performance mean for fantasy football? I think Daniel Jones immediately becomes a fantasy streamer at the QB position. The Giants play the Redskins in week 4, who allowed Carson Wentz to put up 313 yards and 3 touchdowns and Dak Prescott to put up 269 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Redskins do play the Bears tonight, so they should have a better showing, but I think Jones can exploit them and have another great game.

Jones prefored when he had the least talent around him. He will be adding Saquon and Tate at some point this season and he can become a great play the rest of the season. If I am streaming, I am picking him up this week. If I am in a 2 QB league, I am also picking him up.
