Vikings Week 7 Review

The Minnesota Vikings had a DAY on Sunday when they beat the Detroit Lions 42-30. Diggs had no touchdowns coming off his hat trick week last week against Philidelphia but had the most receiving yards with 142. Great minds think alike as Cook rushed for 142 yards and had 2 touchdowns.

Midway through the game, Theilen had a great toe touch grab for a touchdown but hurt his hamstring on the play, when asked how he felt after the game Theilen said he would be ready for Thursday’s game against the Redskins in Minnesota. But in Theilen’s absence rookie Olabisi Johnson stepped up to the plate and caught 4 balls for 40 yards and a TD. Hopefully, this can continue into Thursday and cousins can count on a plethora of pass options.

Speaking of cousins, he had a great game with 337 yards, 4 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions. Cousins certainly looks much better than he did at the beginning of the season. Having a solid passing game and running game. In addition to the Vikings stellar Defense could certainly hod potential to bring them to a Superbowl in 2020

Sources say that Adam Theilen is unlikely to play on Thursday against Washington, But that should have little impact on the outcome of the game. The Vikings have 500 more passing yards about 500 more rushing yards and have scored 102 more points than the Redskins this season so production on offense shouldn’t be an issue on Thursday.
