Week 14 Waiver Wire

Week 14 Waiver Wire

First week of Playoffs!

Waiver Group: May be available to you (ownership above 50% Lower than 90%)

QB: BUF Josh Allen (83%), CLE Baker Mayfield (75%)

RB: GB Jamal Williams (66%), CLE Kareem Hunt (86%), PHI Miles Sanders (81%), WAS Derrius Guice (51%),

WR: CAR Curtis Samuel (74%),SEA DK MetCalf (86%),SF Deebo Samuel (52%), NYJ Robbie Anderson (54%), HOU WIll Fuller (71%) MIA Devante Parker (67%)

TE: IND Jack Dolye (51%), PHI Dallas Goedert (50%)

Waiver Group: Should be available to you (ownership under 50%)

Quarterbacks

TEN Ryan Tannehill  (30%) – Tannehill since a must pick up moving forward even after a bad week. He was coming into week 13 with the 3rd highest fantasy points for QBs since becoming the starter. Defense and Derrick Henry took over week 13 so expect Tannehill to bounce back. Three straight home games against teams who allow QBs to rack up fantasy points. He is still a solid option if you are in need of a QB.

MIA Ryan Fitzpatrick (7%) – Back to back 20 point games for The Beard now and still have favorable matchups coming up. The Dolphins play both New York teams followed by the 1-10 Bengals who all are top 15 in points allowed to the QB position. The Dolphins have no run game so they will be forced to throw downfield and you know Fitzpatrick has no problem airing the ball downfield. He comes with risk but should be a valuable option in fantasy.

Other Group of QBs: NYJ Sam Donald (42%), CAR Kyle Allen (16%), JAX Garnder Minshew (9%), NYG Daniel Jones (24%)

Donald plays the Dolphins in week 14 at home so he is very startable. If you are desperate then Kyle Allen who has been playing better, does have a match up against an average Falcons team. Minshew Mania is back in action now! In his nine week run he has QB 12 on the season and worth an add with a favorable schedule coming.  Daniel Jones has been very turnover prone but does get his first crack against a banged up Eagles secondary.

Running Backs

SF Raheem Mostert (13%) – The running backs aren’t very exciting right now but Mostert could be someone who takes advantage of his opportunity with his talent. He out carried Coleman 19/5 and there could be change in the running back lineup. Mostert has been the most success running back in terms of YPC on the season. Mostert could gain a starting job, just in time for playoffs to start.

MIN Alexander Mattison (25%) Every Fantasy owner either got super scared or excited during Monday’s night game. If you are a Dalvin Cook owner then he is a must pick up right now. He has had productive games when given the opportunity late in games. If you aren’t an owner then he is still worth a pickup but reports say that Cook is going to be fine but they limit his work or possible re-injury. Unless you need a must-start RB then get Mattison on your bench.

KC Darwin Thompson (5%) – Thompson could finally be fantasy relevant as he had his season high in carries and game team high in carries in week 13. Injuries to Damien Williams and Darrel Williams could very much open up things for Thompson.  He was an incredible talented running back who has amazing breakaway speed. It’s time to scoop him up in his high power offense.

Other Group of RBs: PIT Benny Snell (26%), SEA Rashaad Penny (44%), Min Alexander Mattison (22%), Dal Tony Pollard (13%), Jax Ryquell Armstead (1%), DET Bo Scarbrough  (45%), IND Jonathan Wilkins (4%), Patrick Laird (1%)

Snell has back to back 60 yard rushing games and could continue if James Connor remains out.  Mattison, Pollard and Armstead all solid handcuff to have on. Scarbough has a tough schedule but has had three straight 55 rushing yard games. Wilkins had a team high 11 carries in week 13 and may get a chance next week if Mack is off. Laird receiving a team high 10 carries and could get an opportunity moving forward. He does have ppr value. Penny was very involved Monday night and could still see an expanded role if Carson struggles at all.

Wide Receivers

CHI Anthony Miller (12%) – Since week 11, Miller has been a top 20 fantasy receiver. He has been leading the team in targets during that time and that could be the start of things to come. It’s hard to trust the Bear’s offense but Miller has been so consistent that it is hard to not trust him. If you are looking for a receiver than take a shot on Miller.

PIT James Washingoton (22%) –  Since week 11, Washington has been a top 12 fantasy wide receiver and has been the only consistent thing on the Steelers’ offense. He has 90 yards and a touchdown in three of his last four games. Two of his three matchups during the playoffs are very favorable for him and he could help you win some matchups.

Other Group of Wrs: DAL Randell Cobb (40%), NYG Darius Slayton(25%), BUF Cole Beasley (28%), ATL Russell Gage(7%) CIN Auden Tate (13%), GB Allen Lazard (4%), TEN AJ Brown (22%), IND Zach Pascal  (20%)

Cobb cooled down last week but still involved in a high passing offense. Slayton has a favorable schedule down the stretch and it’s clear he has a role in this offense. Beasley needs to be owned in all leagues that his point he has been a big part of this offense. Gage could continue to have a role with Hooper out of the line up and if Julio Jones is to miss any time then Gage’s role will expand. Tate was a solid WR 4 during his time with Dalton his season and could regain some of that spark now. Lazard is Rodgers number two receiver and has value in that regards. AJ Brown has a favorable matchups and could see strong performances down the road. Pascal is the WR 1 role with Hilton out of the lineup and will have value especially against the Bucs in week 14.

Tight Ends

LAR Tyler Higbee (7%) – Higbee had an amazing week 13 as he went off for 7 receptions for 107 yards and a touchdown. The Rams starting TE have a favorable playoff schedule for us in fantasy.  If Everett’s injuries lingers than Highbee could see an expanded role and be a solid TE for the playoffs.

MIA Mike Gesicki(13%) – Gesicki has finally shown up as a productive TE. Since week nine he has been TE 5 in that span and his role has expanded once Preston Williams went out. The Dolphins will continue to air the ball out with no run game so expect Gesicki to have a lot of value.

Other Group of TE: CLE David Njoku (25%), ATL Jaeden Graham (1%), NYG Kaden Smith (1%), NYJ Ryan Griffin (40%)

Njoku still waiting to play and should be back this week. Graham has been productive over the last two weeks with at least 50 yards in each game.  Smith had taken advantage of injuries and had 70 yards in week 13. Griffin continues to have a role in this offense and plays Miami in week 14.

DET David Blough

BAL Gus Edwards

OAK Jalen Richard

IND Hyheim Hines

MIA Myles Gaskin
