Who to Start in DFS in the Colts vs Jaguars Week 17 Matchup

Welcome to week 17 where teams give it their all one last game especially if they are eliminated from playoff contention. This game is exactly that, Colts at Jaguars. Before Andrew Luck retired this looked like the most important game of the year for both teams. In this case it has not lived up to expectations. We will being seeing a tough game out there this Sunday. I do like a few players in DFS of course, there’s always a couple plays.

Minshew mania was silenced last week in a tough game against Atlanta. He finished with 14.8 points on DraftKings, not great but he didn’t kill you as I predicted in last week’s article. This week he has an easier match up but there is still a lot of risks still. He is going into this game questionable with some soreness in his throwing shoulder. This is very concerning for a QB and for a team that does not want to hurt even more what little left of a team they have. I would stay clear of Minshew, I can definitely see Minshew taking a sack and hurting his shoulder to the point where he is pulled from the game.

On the other side of the ball, Jacoby Brissett is not the answer either. I hate game managers and he is exactly that. I expect 14 points nothing more nothin’ else. He might in the luckiest of ways sneak into 20 points if he steals a goal line touchdown from Marlon Mack.

Let’s talk about Marlon Mack. I love the price of Mack at $6,900 if the Jaguars can keep it competitive he should see close to 20 touches. Fournette is an elite running back but he is out this week. Armstead will replace him and is a DFS dart throw at best, I can see 80 yards and a touchdown tho. I would look in other directions if you need a RB.

The pass catchers in this game include D.J Chark who is a very sneaky play at $5,800 on DraftKings, I like him this week after a let down last week. T.Y Hilton on the other side is a must play with 2 starting corner backs out for the Jags. Jack Doyle is a decent option but I would not recommend him. Dede Westbrook is a no, Chris Conley only if a starting WR gets hurt in game.
