After another week finishing in the positive, it’s time to keep the good times flowing. Let’s make some bets. All odds are from DraftKings Sportsbook.
Season Record: 21-14
The Broncos are coming off a red hot come from behind victory against the Chargers last week. Drew Lock showed in the fourth quarter that he has the potential and tools to be a franchise quarterback for the Broncos. The Falcons coming into this game are a little confusing. They would have beaten the Lions two weeks ago had it not been for Todd Gurley, and they beat the Panthers on TNF last week. Nevertheless, the Broncos have a way of keeping things close when they aren’t playing the Chiefs. They excel in the red zone on defense, where the Falcons struggle on offense. I like the Broncos to cover a field goal in this one.

This line is way too low. The Bills haven’t looked great since beating the Raiders over a month ago. Josh Allen has regressed back to his 2019 level of quarterback play. To add to that, their defense isn’t near the level it was last year. The Seahawks offense is an absolute buzz saw. While the defense is still awful, the Bills offense won’t be a big challenge for them. I love the Seahawks to win by more than three here.
Ever since the first few weeks, I have been extremely impressed by the Panthers. They are well coached and playing way above my expectations for them coming into this season. Teddy Bridgewater is proving more than capable of winning games in the NFL. They have only been beaten by more than 10 points once this year, against the Bucs earlier in the season. The Chiefs are of course one of the best teams in the league and capable of beating anyone by double digits, but the Panthers are great at keeping games close.
Lamar Jackson and the Ravens will be looking towards a bounce back week after a close loss against their division rival Pittsburgh last week. They still have a strong run game and a top tier defense. The Colts are still limited by the corpse of Phillip Rivers they have running the offense. This matchup is primed for a defensive slugfest. The Ravens are built to win those better than any other team in the league. I see a big bounce back week for the Ravens here.
Jets total under 17
Once again Vegas has set the Jets point total at a crazy high number. The Jets have not scored more than ten points in a game in a month. They only did it then when they were gifted amazing field position and a fancy defensive touchdown by Brett Rypien. Simply put, the Jets are awful. They will be awful all year. Eventually they will probably win a game, but who knows when that will be. I certainly won’t be betting on that to happen against Bill Bellichick. I will be hammering the under for the Jets here.
Low Risk High Reward parlay
This Weeks odds: +430
The Chiefs and the Texans should have easy paths to victory this week. The Seahawks and the Raiders are closer matchups, but I feel confident both will come out on top. That leaves us with the Steelers, who by all accounts should beat the Cowboys by 30. However, every year the Steelers pick one game to play down to their competition and lose to a vastly inferior opponent. If this is that week then so be it, but I’m still putting them in my parlay.
