Lions Free Agency Recap: Grading the Lions Offseason So Far

I think we all know that Detroit has a lot of work to do going into this off-season. Finishing with an abysmal record that warranted the 3rd overall pick in this year’s draft, and a mandate to win-now from Martha Ford, the QuinnTricia brain trust has been acting with a sense of urgency during the 2020 Free Agency Period. Both Bob Quinn and Matt “Rocket Scientist” Patricia know that it’s now or never this year for their jobs with the Lions. If they don’t perform, they’ll both be crawling back to Daddy Belichick in New England in 2021.

Life Without Tom Brady – Bill Tears the Dynasty Down to the Studs – Part 1

Tom Brady is gone, so now what? It’s hard to believe and it will never not sting seeing Tom Terrific in a different team’s uniform. Patriots fans, you’ve experienced nearly two decades of dominance, something that is as rare as a supernova in the professional sports world. The Patriots have accomplished what few other sports franchises have done in history. This is the truest definition of a dynasty. Across sports, the only other comparable teams that come to mind are the Popovich-led Spurs and the Lombardi Packers. Nine Super Bowl appearances, six Super Bowl victories, all of those being on the arm of Tom Brady and the mind of Bill Belichick. But fear not Patriots fans! The dynasty isn’t dead yet; not if Bill Belichick has anything to say about it.

Detroit Lions From Worst-To-First Part Two: Deep-Dive Mock Draft

In order to truly contend this year, the Lions need to draft as many impact players they can get their hands on. This means punting on potential developmental players that may have higher upside for the organization in the long run in order to acquire playmakers that can fill out the rest of the holes on the team. This is a deep-dive mock draft that gives the Lions their best shot at winning (in our opinion).

Detroit Lions, From Worst to First Part 1

You might be saying “huh?” at the article title, but let us talk you off the ledge that is clicking out of the article. We promise that this article is indeed rooted in reality. After being given a supposed “Win-Now” mandate from owner Martha Ford, we want to try and help Bob Quinn and Matt Patricia do just that, win. Although the Lions had another rough season last year there is some room for optimism. Detroit showed some bright spots last season by beating the playoff bound Eagles, being 2 bogus hands to the face calls away from beating the Packers and coming within a 4th down stop from beating the eventual Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs. The outlook for the Lions gets a little brighter when their 2020 schedule is considered. Although the schedule is not out yet, they will be given a 4th place schedule, which has shown time and again to propel teams from last to first in a division.

Is Kerryon Johnson Worth His Draft Price?

There’s something going on in fantasy leagues all around the world. Former second round pick Kerryon Johnson is getting drafted VERY high. Currently sitting at a 3.04 ADP in most 12 team leagues, Johnson is primed as one of the best backs to have on your team in 2019. However, this hype has seemingly come out of no where. So, is Johnson worthy of his ADP? Or is he over-hyped for his position? Let’s take a look at what to expect from Kerryon Johnson in 2019…
