The Tennessee Titans are bringing back OLB, Kamalei Correa. The 25 year old is coming off his best season yet. His contract is for one-year, and is expected to be for 3.5 million. Free agency has been a wild one. I can’t remember a time where free agency has been heightened to this magnitude. And with all of the major sports being shut down due to the Coronavirus, you could say that this is the type of entertainment every sports fan needs. But on the Tennessee Titans front, it has been business as usual. So, here is a recap of what the Titans have done so far in free agency.
With free agency being days away, Tom Brady is the biggest name on the market. Brady, who is 42 years old, is set to make the biggest decision of the off-season. He will decide if he wants to end his career with the most prestigious organization of today, or walk away from the only team he has ever played for.
The Tennessee Titans had a hell of a run this past season, but now it’s time to turn their attention to the draft. After going (9-7) in the regular season and losing in the AFC Championship game, the Titans organization will dive in and see what players can help improve an already talented Titans squad.
There are quite a few teams that will be looking for some help in the backfield during the off-season. Teams that are rebuilding or that will be looking to add depth at a vital position for success will get their first shot at free agents until the draft in April. I truly believe that this sport is like no other, and part of why I love it so much is connecting with other people about the NFL; college ball; the draft; what strategies their team might go for in the coming year; what we think about certain players and their trajectories and any other related topics that cross our minds. Basically, I love talking about the game.
This past Sunday the Tennesee Titans lost 35-24 in the AFC Championship game to the explosive Kansas City Chiefs. But early on, the Titans possessed a 10-0 lead early in the first frame.
The Kansas City Chiefs are heading back to the AFC Championship game for the second season in a row, this time hoping for a different result. Last season, the Chiefs fell to the Patriots in overtime and were just an off-sides penalty away from going to the Super Bowl. This season, they will face the Tennessee Titans, a team that the Chiefs are familiar with due to their match-up earlier in the year where the Titans took the win in dramatic fashion in Tennessee.
Well its finally time to crown conference champions this weekend and see who the final two teams will be. It’s always exciting to see who shows up in the playoffs whether as a surprise team or a team with a bye that continues to play strong. Both games this weekend should be exciting as both have the line at about a touchdown for the home teams. This means that the scores could stay close. There is also the added appeal that both games are going to be repeats of previous meetings from the season. So, if the games were not important enough there is also the added sense of revenge for both the Chiefs and the Packers heading into these vital games. The matchups are exciting especially when you look at DFS plays for this weekend.
The Tennessee Titans are headed to the AFC Championship game for the first time since 2002. Tennessee shocked the NFL world on Saturday night by rumbling over the top seeded Baltimore Ravens 28-12. And it all started with Derrick Henry wearing down the Ravens defense during the course of the game. He imposed his will by rushing for 195 yards on 30 touches and added a jumping TD pass.
