Heading into week 3 if you have a Chief running back you are probably tearing your hair out right now. With injuries to Damien Williams and LeSean McCoy a player that has been written off for dead in fantasy football for 2019, Darwin Thompson could be a really solid week 3 start.
Week 2 of the 2019 NFL season was full of exciting games and even a few upsets. We saw some major injuries and some major breakouts. Check out this weeks power rankings below and comment where your team falls on the list.
In 2014, Scott Linehan started in Dallas as the passing game coordinator. That was the golden year for Tony Romo, Dez Bryant, and DeMarco Murray. Tony Romo became one of the best quarterback’s that season, but it was almost too late for the star due to being beaten up and injury prone. That’s when they started to rely on the running game more to counteract that with DeMarco Murray also being one of the best running backs that season.
Dede Westbrook was one of my favorite players coming into 2019. I thought he was the number one on his team and he finally had a competent quarterback throwing him the ball. That all changed when quarterback Nick Foles was injured on the second drive of the season. After a preformance where Westbrook was bailed out with a touchdown and then a terrible week two, we have to answer the question. Is it time to drop Dede Westbrook?
Week 2 is now in the books and we are heading into week 3 of waivers with many questions. Everyone is in a different situation with their teams. Some may be 2-0 with their roster looking really good. Some may be 0-2 with many holes on their team. You could have lost some players over the weekend you need replacements for. I have my list of waivers here that could improve your team.
Once a fantasy superstar and all around offensive juggernaut, Cam Newton has so far disappointed. With Christian McCaffery’s surge to become the Panthers number one play-maker, the Carolina offense has had to rely less on Cam. Now, you would think with reduced pressure, Cam would be able to get more comfortable and consistent. Right? Wrong. Cam has looked sluggish, lazy and simply not like that MVP level Quarterback we once knew. Which for fantasy owners, is a big red flag. With rumors swirling about this possibly being Cam’s final season either for the Panthers or in the NFL as a whole, will he overcome adversity and help lead your team to a championship? Or will he continue to crumble as he proves that more than kryptonite can kill superman.

Week 2 started with a slow game on Thursday. Last week there were a ton of breakout performances, and there should be plenty of excitement this week as well. Here are some guys for you to keep your eye on.
After 2 weeks it is a little early to full on give up on someone, but I think we have gotten to the point where through 2 games O.J. Howard has been used so little he is no longer a player you can start on a regular basis. In this article I will make the argument for why you can bench or even cut O.J. Howard.
Week one was filled with tons of action from the Ravens dominating the Dolphins, to the Patriots looking like a literal super team. As we head into week 2 here are my updated power rankings.
It’s easy to get swept up in the beginning of a season and think one good game makes a great player. Maybe they had beginners’ luck, or they may have just played a bad team. It’s important to look at the big picture, here are three players that you should pump the breaks on before you make any big changes to your fantasy team.
We all can say that week 1 of football was insane, to say the less. The amount of huge performances, upsets, players who disappointed and injuries can’t go unspoken. In this article I will first go over players who have a low available percentage but if they are out there you better add them to your team. Following that, I will give my waiver selection of players, who should be 50% or more available for you. Also I will list a few week 1 wonders as well which, are players who have hit their ceiling for the season.
Football was back, the Jaguars had the super bowl winning quarterback starting against the tough Kansas City Cheifs, and fans were excited as optimism filled the city and locker room. That was until at the end of the second drive in the first quarter, Foles threw a 35 yard touchdown pass to DJ Chark as the Cheifs defensive tackle Chris Jones tackled Nick Foles. Soon after, he was ruled out and sat out for the rest of the game. Nick Foles literally went out with a bang, unfortunately it came too soon.
Week 1 of the 2019 fantasy football season almost in the books we will discuss 3 of my takeaways from Sunday’s games and how it applies to fantasy football moving forward. As happens in every season a lot of overreactions happen after week 1. This article will not be an overreaction piece but instead things to think about and build into your strategy moving forward.
To put it simply, the Minnesota Vikings played excellent on Sunday. Winning 28-12 against the Atlanta Falcons.
