Minnesota Vikings Offseason: Free agent gold?

The Minnesota Vikings find themselves in an offseason that could be very different than years past. They have very little cap space and have the worst cap situation out of all teams. Minnesota’s 1.3 million in available cap is not enough to get anyone that can help the team. Minnesota will have to resort to cutting veterans and letting the fresh faces get their shot at glory. From what they showed last year, that might not be a bad thing. The Vikings will also have to look into the free-agent market. Minnesota has done a good job in the past at finding a solid player for cheap in the free-agent market.

Minnesota Vikings Offseason: Trade Rumors are buzzing

There are many things in question when it comes to the Minnesota Vikings 2020 offseason. Is Diggs leaving? Is Everson Griffen leaving? Are they able to keep Waynes? What about Linval Joseph? Those are just a few of the questions. Minnesota has a cap space problem and are looking to make room which will see some of our loved, and not so loved players leaving this offseason. That is the NFL. Now I think Minnesota has some great plans for the offseason and they have already made some good moves by repositioning Gary Kubiak to Offensive Coordinator and now the hire of Dom Capers as the defensive assistant. Let’s get into it!

Minnesota Vikings Offseason: Emerging Stars

There hasn’t been much happening with the Minnesota Vikings offseason just yet. They lost OC Kevin Stefanski to the Cleveland Browns and promoted Head Coach Assistant Gary Kubiak to the OC job. Besides that, there hasn’t been much change, but that doesn’t mean big changes aren’t on its way. There is much Speculation in Minnesota this offseason.

Minnesota VS San Fransisco: An Underdogs Road to Victory

What a game the Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints put on for us last Sunday. The Vikings played like I haven’t seen in a long time. It seemed like all the stars had finally aligned for Minnesota and they took advantage of it. Yes, they made a few mistakes, but in the long run, they made more winning plays then not, and that is why Minnesota came out on top in the 26-20 Win in overtime.

Vikings vs Saints Wild Card Weekend Preview: Can Minnesota Hold off a Saints Revenge?

What a crazy year it has been for Vikings fans. Minnesota started the year off hot with a beat down on the Falcons and followed it up with a few bad weeks against Green Bay and Chicago. In those weeks, Minnesota was talked as one of the biggest pretenders and the playoffs looked as far as could be. Now here they are, a 10-6 record, which could have been easily 11-5, and in the playoffs. I really didn’t know if this would be possible after the week 4 loss to the Bears. They take on the Saints Sunday and are looking to hold off a Saints revenge, as the last time they met in the playoffs, the famous Minneapolis Miracle was born when Diggs took a last second pass from Case Keenum and took it to the house to pull an upset over Saints. Can Minnesota pull of another win?

Chicago Bears vs Minnesota Vikings Week 17 Preview

It has been a tough week for Minnesota fans. The Vikings dropped to 10-5 on the season with a loss to Green Bay. The game didn’t mean much as the Vikings already clinched a playoff spot, but losing to a Rival, in your own home, is not something we are used to. That was Aaron Rodgers first win in US Bank Stadium. We lost some key players and Minnesota’s offense just couldn’t do anything. The final game of the regular season is against our second biggest rival in the Monsters of the Midway. Chicago will be coming to Minnesota on Sunday and are only playing for pride at this time. Since the Vikings can’t get a better playoff spots, now would be a good time to rest some starters.

Packers vs Vikings Preview: The Game that Could Make or Break your Fantasy Championship

The Green Bay Packers clinched a playoff spot last week after their win against Chicago. Now they travel to Minneapolis to take on the Minnesota Vikings in a crucial divisional matchup. This is the biggest game of season for each team. If the Packers win they lock up the NFC North Division. The Vikings are undefeated at home this season (6-0). They feed off the energy from the home crowd and Kirk Cousins has been playing at the highest level in his career.

Green Bay vs Minnesota: Playoff Underdogs Square off for the Division

This week the Minnesota Vikings host the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football. This is a HUGE game for the Vikings. They have a perfect record at home this year as they are 6-0. They are 4-4 on the road. With a win this week, they will have a definite spot in the playoffs, or also with a rams loss. With a win over Green Bay and Chicago they would finish the season 12-4. If the Packers managed to lose both games, Vikings would be able to get some home field advantage, which they will need if they want a solid playoff run. It should be a close, hard fought game.

Vikings vs Chargers Preview: How the Vikings Move Forward in their Playoff Push

It is a nerve racking time in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. The Minnesota Vikings currently hold the 6th seed of the NFC. There are 3 games left of the 2019 season and the Vikings control their own destiny with those 3 games. If they manage to win out, they would head to the playoffs. If they loose all of them, Chicago and the L.A. Rams both have a chance to take the 6th seed spot. Now both of those teams would basically have to win out and have the Vikings Lose out for them to make it, which is not likely, but crazier things have happened.

Minnesota Vikings Week 14 Preview: Can Adam Thielen Return the Vikings to Their Winning Ways?

Vikings Fans are left a little heart broken after the week 13 match up with the Seahawks. It was a well fought out game, but in the end, Seattle came out with the Victory. These teams always put up an exciting game against each other, but Seattle seems to always pull out the win. Minnesota hasn’t beaten them since November 22nd, 2009, so over 10 years ago. This was a game the Vikings could have won, and should have won. Their offense was creating plays and wearing down Seattle’s defense, but I can’t say the same for Minnesota’s Defense.

Minnesota Vikings Week 13 Preview

It’s a bitter sweet week for us Vikings fans. We are fresh off a win, that we should be proud of but sadly we have to go 2 weeks without Vikings football. I believe it will be beneficial for the team as (hopefully) some of our players can heal up nicely. I know I definitely want Harrison Smith, Linval Joseph, and Adam Thielen back for their next game against Seattle.

2019 Fantasy Football: Late Round Quarterbacks to Target

A strategy that is starting to become much more popular, especially in expert leagues is taking a quarterback later in your draft. Stop me if you’ve seen this before. In your home league someone takes a quarterback in the first round. Maybe they take one in second, third, or fourth. The point is in a majority of home leagues one, two, three and maybe more quarterbacks are taken early on. Why does this continue to happen?
